RIVER SIDE CLEAN UP Brownville State Recreation Area & Meriwether Lewis Dredge Museum May 2, 2009, 9 am - 4 pm Endorsed by www.TakePride.gov Who: An all volunteer crew is needed—please join your friends from Brownville, NPPD, Cooper Nuclear Station, Nebraska Game & Parks and area civic groups. Help paint and repair restrooms, picnic tables and grills. Remove garbage, spread and level soil, trim and clear brush, and plant trees. General cleaning and repairs are needed on the Meriwether Lewis Dredge Museum like scraping & painting. What: Bring tractors with blades, skid loaders with buckets, and pickups with trailers. Don’t forget water, gloves, protective clothing, shovels, rakes, chain saws, pruners, limb saws, garbage bags, paint brushes, brooms, and hand & power tools. Where: Located just south of the Brownville Missouri River Bridge on Highway 136 on the Nebraska side. Report to the command post and check in. Details:
